Roy Harrisville是美國的信義宗神學家、新約學者，他先後於Luther Seminary (St. Paul, MN)、Princeton大學及Tübingen大學就學，在加入Luther Seminary任教前，曾於Mason市擔任牧者。他對於聖經本質、聖經作者與聖靈之間互動的觀點影響北美信義宗的宣講與神學超過40年。除著有The Bible in Modern Culture: Baruch Spinoza to Brevard Childs、Fracture: The Cross as Irreconcilable in the Language and Thought of the Biblical Writers、Historical Criticism and Theological Interpretation of Scripture外，也是Martin Luther's Theology: Its Historical and Systematic Development (by Bernhard Lohse)的譯者。
